How it works

What we check, what you send, what you get

Your mod is a calculation. Every input to it can be wrong. We check the inputs.

What we need from you

  • Your current experience rating worksheet. Issued by NCCI or your state rating bureau. Your agent or carrier has it; if you don't, we give you the one-line email to request it.
  • Loss runs for the three policy years in your experience period, valued as of the current date.
  • Declarations pages and payroll by class code for those same years.
  • Any ownership change in the last few years: sale, merger, new entity, new partner.

What we check

  • Claims. Every claim on the worksheet against your loss runs: is it yours, is the value current, should it have been closed or capped, is it in the right year, is it medical-only where it should be.
  • Payroll. The payroll on the worksheet against what you actually reported, by year and class code.
  • Class codes. Whether the codes on the worksheet match your operations, and whether a misclassification is inflating the expected losses you're measured against.
  • Ownership and combinability. Whether a prior entity's experience is being carried into yours correctly, or wrongly.
  • Timing. Whether claims that resolved after the carrier's reporting date are still showing at old values, and when the next reporting date lets you fix that.

What you get back

  • A findings report in plain English: each error, what it's worth in mod points, and the exact request to send your carrier or agent to correct it.
  • A confirmation when the worksheet is right, so you stop wondering.
  • With the Path to Under 1.0 option: a projection of next year's mod if nothing changes, and a dated action list — which claims, which payroll, which deadlines — that moves the number.

How long it takes

Findings within 3 business days of a complete upload. If something is missing we tell you the same day.

What we don't do

We don't sell or place insurance, we don't negotiate with your carrier for you, and we don't take a percentage of your savings. You pay a flat fee, you get the findings, your agent and carrier make the corrections, and every dollar saved is yours.
