Workers' comp EMR for contractors

Over 1.0 and locked out of bids?

Your experience modification rate (EMR) is built from three years of claims and payroll. If any of it is wrong, your mod is wrong. We check every line and tell you exactly what to send your agent to fix it.

Flat fee. No contingency. The savings are yours.

What you get

  • A line-by-line check of your bureau worksheet against your loss runs and payroll
  • Every error found, in plain English, with exactly what to send your carrier or agent
  • Optional: next year's projected mod and a dated plan to get under 1.0
  • Findings within 3 business days of a complete upload

Why a mod over 1.0 costs more than the premium

Lost bids

Many general contractors, owners, and public agencies won't prequalify a sub with an EMR at or above 1.0. One number decides whether you're on the list.

Three years of premium

A claim stays in your rating for three policy years. Every point above 1.0 is 1% on your workers' comp premium each of those years.

Errors nobody checked

Wrong payroll, wrong class codes, claims that should have been closed or capped, ownership changes handled wrong. If no one compared the worksheet to the source data, no one knows.

How it works

  1. Upload your documents. Your current experience rating worksheet, loss runs, and payroll by class code. We tell you exactly what to ask your agent for if you don't have them.
  2. We check every line. A workers' comp specialist compares the worksheet to your source data and identifies every error and every open item that's holding the number up.
  3. You get a plain-English findings report. What's wrong, what it's worth, and the exact request to send your carrier or agent for each item.
  4. Optional: your path to under 1.0. A projection of next year's mod, and the dated actions — which claims, which payroll, which deadlines — that move it.

More detail

Not a contingency firm. Not an insurance agency.

We don't take a cut of your savings and we don't sell insurance. You pay a flat fee for analysis, you keep every dollar it saves, and your relationship with your agent stays yours. We give you the findings; your agent and carrier make the corrections.
